The Mighty Mid-Western Region of Jack and Jill of America, Inc is 41 chapters strong from eight states (IL, IN, KY, MI, OH, MN, MS, WI). Our region’s theme, “Mission Minded, Dream Driven,” underscores our unwavering commitment to providing enriching experiences for children aimed at nurturing them into future leaders.

It is both an honor and a privilege to lead this remarkable region, alongside an exceptional group of leaders who comprise our esteemed Regional Executive Board: National Program Director Marvis Donalson (Western Cook County), Regional Treasurer Jessica Price Smith (Cleveland), Regional Secretary Cecelia Bolden (Windy City), and Foundation Member-at-Large Kassandra Hayes (North Shore).

For 86 years, Jack and Jill of America, Inc. has been a pioneering force in nurturing leaders within the African American community. Since 1945, our region has wholeheartedly supported this mission, starting with the establishment of our first chapter in Columbus, Ohio.

The Mid-Western Region is deeply committed to service, fostering a community that collaborates harmoniously to effect meaningful change. Our chapters are dedicated to engaging in programs that empower our youth and uplift our communities. Our steadfast commitment to delivering the dream is encapsulated in the acronym D.R.E.A.M. The ‘D’ represents our pledge to deliver exceptional and innovative programming, exceeding expectations at every turn. ‘R’ serves as a reminder to reignite our passion for Jack and Jill, rekindling the fervor within us. ‘E’ signifies our commitment to elevate our mothers and teen leaders, providing them with the support and recognition they rightfully deserve. ‘A’ stands for amplifying our voices, ensuring that our perspectives are not only heard but valued. Lastly, ‘M’ symbolizes our commitment to maximizing our impact in our respective communities, leaving a lasting legacy wherever we go.
