Deidre Lindsey

Indianapolis Chapter

Deidre Lindsey, PharmD, MBA joined Jack and Jill in 2008 as a member of the Indianapolis Chapter.  At the chapter level, Deidre served in the offices of President (3 years), Vice President, Program Director and Editor/Historian. She also chaired the Membership, Program, Technology, and Breakfast with Santa Committees.Prior to the role of Regional Treasurer, Deidre was active on the regional and national levels serving as Regional Program Director/National Program Committee; Co-Chair, 2016 Mid-Western Region Teen Leadership Conference; Regional Chair, Strategic Planning; Lead, Tri-State Center of Excellence; Member, Jack and Jill University National Task Force; and Regional Chair, Chapter Development where, under her leadership, the inaugural Mid-Western Region Leadership Academy was launched.  Currently, Deidre serves as Member, National Budget and Finance Committee and Chair, Regional Budget and Finance Committee.

In her spare time, Deidre enjoys reading, listening to music, playing piano, volunteering, and spending time with family and friends.  She is an active member of the Indianapolis Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. where she serves as Parliamentarian and Chair, Policies and Procedures Committee.  Deidre is also an active member of Olivet Missionary Baptist Church where she is a Deaconess and member of the Youth Council.
A native of Ellisville, MS, Deidre is the wife of David Lindsey, the proud mother of three daughters, Ayana, Shelby and Jaidyn and loving grandmother to her grandson, Chance. Deidre holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from University of Southern Mississippi and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Xavier University of Louisiana College of Pharmacy.  She is currently enrolled in Harvard Business School’s Executive Leadership Program.  Professionally, Deidre is employed at Horizon Therapeutics as National Director, Field Medical Affairs leading a team of Regional Medical Directors.

 

 

 

Marvis Donalson

National Program Director
Western Cook County Chapter

As a business executive and as a mother, Marvis is passionate about the future of all young people. Throughout her professional life, she has used data analysis and business acumen to make a difference. Whether addressing the needs of underserved communities, creating a high return on investment for national corporations, or offering nimble leadership and service to chapters, local, regional and national Jack and Jill, she has been committed to building bridges.

The ability to design, implement and evaluate effective program delivery brings her joy. She is proud to couple exceptional communication and strategic planning skills throughout every area of her life. Marvis’ goal this administration is to provide our chapters with the resources needed to succeed programmatically with multi-faceted programs based on quality data, national research and membership feedback.

Marvis has the broad experience of a business analyst shaped by C-Suite leadership assignments at Coca Cola and Dun & Bradstreet. The ‘C’ stands for care and charisma, leading with a smile, because transformational leaders value commitment. This core value of commitment is evident as a real estate agent and nationally recognized volunteer for American Heart Association.

As a brand ambassador, she leads from vision to implementation.

Jessica Price-Smith

Regional Treasurer
Cleveland Chapter

Judge Jessica E. Price Smith joined Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated in 2012 as a member of the Cleveland Chapter. She and her husband Gregory Smith are the proud parents of two sons, Price and James.
At the chapter level Jessica has served in the offices of President (two terms), Vice President, and Parliamentarian. She also served her chapter as chair of the Membership, Bylaws, Black Family Day, and Chapter-wide Community Service committees, and as Grade Group Activity chair. Prior to her election as Regional Treasurer, she served the region as Nominating Committee Chair, Bylaws Committee Chair, Ohio Center of Excellence Lead, and a member of
the Blue Ribbon Bylaws Task Force. Nationally, she served as a member of the Bylaws Committee, Nominating Committee, and Sisterly Relations/Mediation Task Force. Jessica was a Rising Star in the 2020 cohort of the Mid-Western Region Rising Star Leadership Academy and a fellow in the 2022 cohort of the Marion Stubbs Thomas National Leadership Academy.
Professionally, Jessica serves as a Judge on the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Since her appointment to the bench, she has been an active member of the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges, where she served as chair of the Endowment Committee and as a member of the liaison committee to the National Bar Association. In the Northern District of Ohio Bankruptcy Court, she serves as chair of the Budget and Finance
Committee and as a member of the Strategic Planning Committee. She also serves on the Attorney Admissions Fund Committee of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. From 2019 to 2022, Jessica served a three-year term on the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel for the Sixth Circuit. Her professional life is balanced with service to her community as a member of various civic boards and through her membership in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, where she is a Life Member and serves as Great Lakes Regional Parliamentarian, and the Western Reserve (OH) Chapter of the Links, Incorporated. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Ohio Northern University, and the Board of Directors of Cleveland Catholic Charities.

Cecelia Bolden

Windy City Chapter

Cecelia Bolden joined Jack and Jill of America Inc, Windy City Chapter 2005. She has been married to her life partner Curtis Bolden for 30 years and has two children : Avery(22) – Graduated out of Jack and Jill in 2019 & Malcolm (14).
She’s served as President Twice, Vice-President Twice, Recording Secretary, Served on the Regional Community Impact Committee during the 2020-2021 PY, Served as Technology Chair By-Laws Chair, Chair of the Nomination Committee, Jack and Jill Founders Day Chair, Regional Strategic Planning Chair and most recently as the Regional Membership Chair

Cecelia Bolden is an experienced Board Director and C-level executive, who has advised executive teams at startups, and nonprofits. She has worked for over 35 years in the information technology services industry and developed specific expertise in driving outcomes by building data-focused risk frameworks in quickly changing environments. She is uniquely experienced in connecting traditional products and processes with online, data-driven and transformative platforms. Currently, she is the Chief Development and Diversity Officer for a leading information technology professional services firm.

Kassandra Hayes

Regional Member-At-Large
North Shore Chapter

Kassandra Hayes joined Jack and Jill as a member of the Bucks County, PA Chapter in 2002. She has been an active member for more than 21 years serving in two regions and various leadership roles on the chapter, regional and national level. She and her husband Mel have two daughters: Kennedy and Hunter. During her time in Jack and Jill, she has served as National Strategic Partnership, Mid-Western Region Chair, National Sponsorship Ad Hoc Committee Co-Chair, Teen Leadership and Development Chair, Teen Leadership Conference Senior Gala Co-Chair, and two term IL Area North Center of Excellence Lead. Her service also includes Chapter President, Vice President, Treasurer, Program Director, Editor, Foundation Chair, MWR Grant Reader, and Grade Group Chair.
Professionally, Kassandra is a Senior Dean of Admission at Lake Forest Academy. She is passionate about equity and inclusion and helping underserved students gain access to quality educational programs through strategic recruitment, scholarships, and fundraising. In addition to Jack and Jill, her volunteer work includes Board Member, School District 106/Bannockburn,
Boys & Girls Club Lake County, Willow Creek Community Church Children’s Ministry, Hoffman Estates (IL) Chapter, The Links Inc., and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. She is honored to be part of the 2022 Inaugural Marion Stubbs Thomas Yearlong Leadership Academy, 2021 Mid-Western Region Inaugural Rising Star Academy, and 2020 Mid-Western Region Diamond Legacy Award recipient. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, and coaching the varsity girls cross country team.
